Obituary of Lacy Davis

ROCHESTER, NY – December 28, 2024 Mrs. Davis was born June 21, 1933 in Bainbridge, GA. She is the daughter of the late Oscar Montgomery and the late Mattie (Whitfield) Montgomery. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Davis and great grandson, Blake Watkins. She was self-employed as a Licensed Beautician. She is survived by; 5 daughters, Cheryl Davis-Bryant, Sharon Thompson, Betty (Jackson) Davis-Lloyd, Karen Davis and Greta Davis all of Rochester, New York; 3 sons, Kelvin Davis, and Eric Davis, of Rochester, New York, and Dr. Arthur Davis, of Durham, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ruby Montgomery, Edith Pearl Middleton, Mary Nathan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and dear friends. Friends may call Friday, January 3 from 3-6PM at The Latimer Chapel, 983 South Plymouth Avenue and Saturday, January 4 from 10-11AM at Faith Chapel Apostolic Church, 800 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
