A Tribute to My Great Grandma
It’s impossible to put into words what my great grandma meant to me. She wasn’t just my great grandma—she was my best friend, my confidant, and like a second mother to me. She had a gift for always knowing the right thing to say, and her advice wasn’t just wise; it was filled with love and understanding.
She was my safe space, the one person who would truly listen without judgment. Her presence alone brought comfort. She taught me lessons about life, love, and resilience that I will carry with me forever.
Saying goodbye to her is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I know she’s watching over me, cheering me on as she always did.
Mum, you’ll forever be in my heart. Thank you for loving me so deeply and for always being there. I’ll hold onto the memories, the lessons, and the love you gave me for the rest of my life. Rest peacefully, my angel. I’ll love you forever and you’ll always be my favorite lady.

My dear Aunt Lacy has gone to be with the King to live among other angels to worship, praise and sing.
A strong prayer warrior, that she was, as she faithfully lifted our family's names to God above.

What Mama Lacy saw in those two very young pastors has always been a mystery to us! She adopted us and made us part of her family, giving us the privilege of pastoring her and the family for over 30 years. She was a gift from God to us.
Her support and encouragement meant so much to us. We could count on a beautiful, thoughtful Christmas basket every year. She believed in us and her faith helped us to grow into the people we are today. We are so grateful.
We will miss her smile, hugs and steadfast faith.
What an honor to have had her in our lives.
