Bertha L Newport, age 98, died Friday, August 5, 2011 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Newport was born September 19, 1912 at Horse Pasture, VA the daughter of the late Eurace and the late Annie May (Chalmers) Richardson.
She is survived by 3 sons, Norman "Gus" (Kathryn) New Port of Oakland, CA. John David (Claudette) Newport of North Attleboro, MA and Robert Ware (Sandra) Newport of Fairport, NY; 11 grand, several great & great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; church family & friends.
Memorial Mass on Friday August 19, 2 PM at St. Monica's Church, 34 Monica St. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
