ROCHESTER, NY – May 17, 2024 Annie Wallace Moxley, age 97 of Rochester, NY peacefully passed on May 17, 2024 at home. Mrs. Moxley was born September 5, 1926 in Culpeper, VA. She is the daughter of the late James Wallace and the late Mary (Apperson) Wallace. She is predeceased by; her husband, William C. Moxley Sr.; three sons, Gary Moxley, Charles Moxley, Xavier Moxley and one daughter, Priscilla Moxley McCray. She is survived by; her grateful four sons, Ed (Mariam) Moxley, Lastonza Moxley, Allen Moxley, Greg (Sylvia) Moxley; one daughter, Barbara (Donald) Quinn; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren; three sisters, Orie Reed, Frances Barnes, Barbara (Melvin) Roberts, all of Rochester, NY; brother-in-law, Sam Whitehead of Maryland, a host of niece, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends. Friends may call Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Lawrence Hargrave officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
