Gertrude Talley, age 91, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in Rochester.
Mrs. Talley was born December 30, 1919 in Holly Spring, MS the daughter of the late Matt and the late Martha (Sigman) Lesure.
Predeceased by her husband, Albert Lee Talley; and son, Henry Louis Talley. She is survived by 1 son, Grant Talley; 3 daughters, Virginia Haygood, Connie Talley and Joan Obieke; 9 grand, 8 Great-grand and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jessie (Gloria) Lesure; god-daughter, Midge Holliman; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday 5-8 PM at Holy Trinity Baptist Church, 397 North Street, Funeral Service, Wednesday 11 AM at Holy the Church, Rev. Robert Young, Pastor. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
