ROCHESTER, NY – February 25, 2024
Joseph Lewis McCloud was born April 26, 1936 in East Dublin, Georgia. He is the son of the late Sammie McCloud and the late Daisy, Mae (Dardy) McCloud.
He came to Rochester at the age of age of 21 and married the love of his life Altmease Powell and stayed married until her passing. He worked diligently for over 40 years for the City of Rochester at the Rochester Water Works, Rochester Riverside Convention Center and Construction.
He leaves behind; his children, Shirley Reddick, Linda Gantt, Jospeh Lewis (Beatrice) McCloud Jr., Charles Douglas McCloud, beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other loved ones.
Friends may call Friday, March 8, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Restoration Church of God, 595 Frost Avenue, Rochester, NY 14611. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
