Obituary of Terrance Hogan

ROCHESTER, NY – December 28, 2023 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terrence Hogan, a beloved son, father and friend. Terrence peacefully ascended to be home with his Lord on December 28, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories. His presence in our lives will forever be missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. Mr. Terrence Hogan, affectionately known as “Florida” was born on July 27, 1980 to Gloria Hogan & Vincent Lamar Jones, Sr. He was educated in the Duval County Public Schools. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents: Gloria Hogan and Vincent L. Jones Sr.; grandmother Yvonne Hogan; sister Vincent L. Jones Jr. and brother Waeunecia Riley. Terrence leaves to cherish his memories his son Terrence Hogan Jr.; daughters: Kadayha Hogan, Shateara Hogan and Makenzie Hogan; beloved siblings: Ericka Jones, Curtis Simmons and Donte Bartley; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Terrence was full of life and was not affaid of anything he movied to Rochester in 2001 where he spent half of his life. He will truly be missed! We will always love you Terrence aka “Florida” Calling hours will be Friday, January 5 from 11:00 – 12:00 PM at The Latimer Chapel, 983 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will Immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment at the convenience of the family.
