Marian Peyton-Sweeting, age 93, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Peyton-Sweeting was born April 9, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Mark and the late Elizabeth (Campbell) Peyton.
She is predeceased by her husband Cecil Sweeting and brother Browning Peyton. She is survived by 1 brother, Alexander (Nettie) Peyton of Oregon; 2 nieces, Drusilla Peyton-Tayolr of Rochester and Zandra Richardson of Nevada; 1 nephew, Howard (Estelle) Peyton of Georgia; step-children, Janet Russell of Bahamas, and Howard Sweeting of Rochester; 3 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
NO PIOR CALLING. Memorial Service Saturday, 1 PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams St., Rev. Rickey B. Harvey Officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Community Child Care Center, 170 Troup St., Rochester, NY 14608
