ROCHESTER, NY – February 27, 2023 – US Army Veteran Mr. Shuler was born December 26, 1933 in Bradenton, FL. He is the son of the late James and the late Vera (Daugherty) Shuler. He married Elnora D. Bryant. He served in the Army during the the Korean war from 1955 to 1957. He was employed by Erwins Dry Cleaners in Greece, New York as a Dry Cleaner Owner. Lawrence Shuler, 89 of Rochester, NY peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his daughter Chandra Cunningham, son Reginald, parents, brothers, Ceroy Shuler, Clarence Cooper and sister Doretha Williams. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elnora, two daughters, Myra (George) Dietz of Huntersville, NC and Nadlyn (George) Kearney of Katy, TX; Son-in-Law, Dwayne Cunningham of Roch, NY; grandchildren Katrina Dietz, Theodore (Stephanie) Dietz, Gilbert (Melika) Taylor, Brian (Shauntella) Kearney, Edward Manns, Lauren (Kimani) Gibson, Lorye Manns, Dwayne M. (Sharon) Cunningham, Joshua Cunningham and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-laws, Elouise Bell of Sarasota, FL, Louise Jones, Ethel {John) Williams and Bessie Shuler of Bradenton, FL, Brother-in-law, Alphonso (Mattie) Bell of Rochester, NY, life-long friends Alfreda Nunn and Jack Gantt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at The Latimer Chapel 983 South Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY. Interment at the convenience of the family.
