Rochester, NY - February 18, 2023 Mr. Cooper was born May 9, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Leola Cooper. Known as Coop, he attended Monroe High School where he played football. He also loved jogging. He enjoyed attending church, which came first in his life. He used his job as a handyman skills to restore old homes which he also loved. He loved his family and friends. Survived by; his wife, Vera Cooper; 2 sons, Terrell Mosley, Daymon Mosley; 1 daughter, Chelsy Mosley; 2 brothers, Ronald Cooper, Henry Noble; 3 sisters, Linda Cooper, Valerie Johnson, Brigette Cooper; lifetime friend, David "Pistol" Carr, host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, church family and friends. Friends may call Sunday, February 26 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at The Latimer Chapel, 983 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Faith Church, 1876 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester with Pastor Eldin officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
