Obituary of Rev. Franklin D. Florence Sr.

ROCHESTER, NY - February 2, 2023 Rev. Franklin was born August 9, 1933 in Miami, FL. He is the son of the late Hozel Florence and the late Bertha (Robinson) Florence. He married Mary E. Payne. He was employed by Central Church of Christ in Rochester, New York as a Minister. He is survived by his wife: Mary E. (Payne) Florence; children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Community Wake will be Friday, February 10 from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Central Church of Christ, 101 South Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY. Community Funeral Service will follow from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Friends may call Saturday, February 11 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main Street, Rochester, NY. Funeral Service to Celebrate his Life will immediately follow. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
