Rochester, NY - June 16, 2022
Mary Wright was born in Warsaw, NY to Jonas and Marion (Davis) Hill. Predeceased by her husband Walter Wright and her brother Richard Hill. Mary passed away at the age of 93 with family at her side.
Mary was a teacher for the Rochester City School District for many years and had a lifelong passion for reading and learning. She was a very talented seamstress, enjoyed knitting, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She was a “Social Butterfly”. She had a deep love of animals and would take in any stray cat that ventured into her yard.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, church family and friends. Mary will be deeply missed.
Friends may call Thursday, June 23, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at The Latimer Chapel. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Private. Masks required.
