Aunt Nellie, there are many sacrifices that one makes in a lifetime but to raise someone else's children is to be commended. When my mom lost her mom as a young teenager; you took her and her siblings in and raised them.
You taught my mom to be a good mother even before you became a mother. I love you for that, because you helped my mother become a wonderful mother that I was blessed to have for 56 years.
I am sure it was a surprise to see mom and Kim in the green pastures. That makes me chuckle. I can hear you saying "Tina what are you doing here? and Kimberly too. Boy that Jaffa and Tanya did not tell me that."
Please tell my mom I will eternally miss her. Kiss Aunt Mae and Aunt Ruthie and know that I will live each day trying to make GOD, my mom and you proud.
