Deacon Wardell was born March 3, 1940 in Middleburg, FL. He is the son of the late Charlie Johnson and the late Lillian (Byrd) Johnson. He married Betty Jane Terry.
He was employed by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY as a Machinist.
He is survived by; his devoted wife, Betty J. Johnson; 1 son, Mark (Alicia) Johnson; 3 daughters, Pamela, Stacy, Michelle, several grand and great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles Johnson; 4 brothers-in-law, 1 sister-in-law, nieces, nephews; special friend, Robert Cooper, other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Monday, March 14, 10-11AM at Calvary Spiritual Church, 25 Morgan Street, Rochester, NY. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY. Masks required.
