ROCHESTER, NY – February 19, 2022 Some people only walk the earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On February 19, Samuel Neal Jr. (Sandman) finished his course. Samuel was a quiet soul who loved and cared for his family and friends in his own unique way. Born September 17, 1952 in Fort Pierce, FL to his parents Samuel L. Neal Sr. and Deansy (Long) Neal. He moved to Rochester, NY with his parents (and his siblings) as a child. He was employed by Strong Memorial Hospital Rochester, New York as a Maintenance Engineer. Preceded in death by; Parents, Samuel L. Neal Sr. and Deansy (Long) Neal; brother, Lucious Neal. He leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Stephanie Duhart-Neal (Sandford, FL); grandsons, Jaden and Josiah Duhart; brothers, Donald Neal (Loretta), Sidney Neal (Nadine), Eugene Neal Sr., and Alan Neal, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday, February 25 from 10-11 AM at The Latimer Chapel. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Private. Masks required.
