ROCHESTER, NY – January 4, 2022 Mrs. Dixon was born June 3, 1921 in New Iberia, LA. She is the daughter of the late Adophs Rochon and the late Germaine (Francois) Rochon. Ann married George Dixon February 13, 1945. She was a homemaker who was also a seamstress and loved to sew and crochet. Ann loved to travel throughout the United States. Vegas was a particular favorite destination. Bingo and visiting casinos were high on her list of things to do. She was an active member of Lifespan for many years. She attended Immaculate Conception regularly for many years. Plymouth Gardens was her home for over 35 years. Predeceased by her husband George Dixon in 1986. She is survived by; 3 sons Andrew (Mozzela, deceased), Thomas (Vera) and John (Cynthia); 6 grandchildren, Joe McFadden, Geraldine McFadden, Tiffany Dixon, N. Samone Dixon, Mia Small, Sherron Small; 5 great-grandchildren, Shay Quan McFadden, Jackson Andrew Dixon, Sherron Small Jr., Aria Small, Ashley Small; special cousins, Judy Jenkins, George Fontenette Jr.; Junita Baker, Barber Ledet, Ronald Ledet, Lilian Rochon, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 11, at St. Monica's Church, 34 Monica Street, Rochester, NY. Interment Private. Masks required.
