ROCHESTER, NY – December 25, 2021 Beverly was born March 14, 1947 in Kingstree, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late James Strong Sr. and the late Viola (Burrows) Strong. Beverly had a heart of gold and loving spirit as she worked as a private duty care giver for many years. God loved her so much, that she entered into eternal rest on the day HE was born, December 25th, ( 2021). She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Frank, Jimmy, James, Daisy, Lila, Johnny, Jessie, and Jakie Strong. She will forever be cherished by her husband, Ernest Houston; children, Alex Houston, Koren (Randy) Scott; grandchildren, Rashad (Amanee) Scott, Autumn Houston; great grandchild, Kamiyah; brother Jerry Strong; sisters, Barbara (Tom) Giles, Sadie (Ben) Singleton, and Sharon Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Friends may call Wednesday, January 5 from 11-12PM at New Bethel C.M.E. Church, 270 Scio Street. Funeral Service to follow. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield, NY.
