ROCHESTER, NY – July 27, 2021 Mrs. Anthony was born September 9, 1930 in Winter Park, FL. She is the daughter of the late Eugene Wilson and the late Jannie (Colson) Wilson. She was employed by Riverside Cemetery in Rochester, NY as a Clerk. Bernice, at the age of 90 peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at home on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. She is predeceased by; her parents, Eugene & Jannie Wilson Sr.; husband, Plais Anthony; 1 son, Bruce L. Anthony; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Ali) Uthman; 2 brothers, Willie A. and Eugene Wilson Jr.; 1 sister, Marcia Anthony. She is survived by; 2 daughters, Gail (Charles) Beacoats, Sr. and Mavis Lockett; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Jacqueline (Carl) Uthman of Henderson, Nevada; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and several friends. Friends may call Monday, August 2 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Community Bible Church, 290 Andrews Street, Rochester. Funeral Service will follow. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
