Cislyn E. Mighty, age 89, passed suddenly on March 20, 2021.
Born Cislyn Facey on June 30, 1931 in Berkshire Hall, St Catherine, Jamaica to Felix and Anzella Facey (deceased).
A longtime resident of Rochester, NY, she retired from Xerox in 1990.
Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Luther C. Mighty (12/28/2011), "Grandma", as we affectionately called her, was an extraordinary woman with an infectious personality.
She is survived by her six children, Marcia Gabbidon (Peter), Lincoln Mighty (Cavelle), Lilleith Nisbeth (Allan), Dorrell Gomes (Earl), Lorna Underwood (Jerome) and Arlene Anderson (Michael); 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. We are grateful to God for blessing our lives with Cislyn and will forever cherish the time spent with her.
Friends may call Friday, April 30, 5PM – 8PM at Latimer's. Funeral Service Saturday, May 1, 11AM at New Life Fellowship 330 Wellington Avenue. Interment Falls Cemetery, Greece, NY. Masks required.
