Obituary of Cordell White

ROCHESTER, NY – April 9, 2021 With great sadness, we announce the passing of Cordell White Jr. on April 9, 2021. Cordell was a dearly loved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. Mr. White was born November 5, 1966 in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late Cordell White Sr. and Jessie J. (Curry) White. He was employed by Rochester City School District Rochester, NY as a Teacher. He is predeceased by; his father, Cordell White Sr. and his paternal grandmother, Clara Roe. He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his loving and devoted mother, Jessie J. White (Jeff); three sons, Cordell White III, also known as, Trey Le'Andre Rucker, Jordan White; one daughter, Kynnedy White; one brother, Charles L. White (Tamika); seven sisters, Sayonara M. Duval (Jarvis "Ugly"), Sabrina E. White, Bridgitte B. Griffin (Milladge), Clara J. White (Levi), Arleata L. White, Letitia M. White, Nichole M. White, all from Rochester, NY; five uncles, Arthur Roe Wilbert, Thomas (Carolyn) of Rochester, NY, Thurvis Thomas (Carol), Will Thomas (Ellen), Artis Thomas, all from Georgia; one aunt, Otheal Beckles from New Jersey; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Cordell loved all of his nieces and nephews, but he shared a special bond with the oldest, Darryl Cordell Sr. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 20 from 10AM-12Noon at Cathedral of Hope, 1089 Joseph Avenue. Funeral Service immediately following at 12:00 Noon. Interment Grove Place Cemetery, Chili, NY. Masks Required.
