Mr. Nichols was born July 17, 1931 in Tifton, GA. He is the son of the late Thomas Nichols and the late Willa (Spivey) Nichols. He married Thelma Dooley.
He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1955 to 1957. He was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. as a Lab Technician.
He is survived by his devoted wife: Thelma (Dooley) Nichols; one daughter, Maria Rayford; 2 grandchildren, Ronald E. Rayford and Christian A. Rayford; other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, December 26th at 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Latimer Chapel. Funeral Service to follow. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Masks required.
