Mr. Appling was born November 23, 1938 in Eatonville, FL. He is the son of the late Wilmer Clyde and the late Pearl (Brown) Appling. He married Earnestine Chatmon.
He was employed by General Motors Rochester, NY as a Oiler.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Mrs. Ernestine Appling; 3 daughters, Penny Crudup (Randy), Myra Henry (Melbourne), and Carla White; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mayola Johnson Jones; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, church family and friends.
Friends may call, Monday, September 14 from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Aenon Baptist Church, 175 Genesee Street. Private Funeral Service to Follow. Mask Required. Rev. Dr. Jonathan Jamel H. McReynolds, officiating. Interment Ridge Road Cemetery.
