Obituary of Minnie L Boutte

ROCHESTER, NY – February 20, 2020 Mrs. Minnie Lue Boutte was born April 30, 1932 in Lawtey, FL. She is the daughter of the late Lee J. Miller and the late Minnie (Moore) Miller. Minnie moved to Rochester, New York in 1952, where she met and married the love of her life, Paul E. Boutte. She was employed by Eastman Kodak and, later, the Visiting Nurse Service in Rochester, NY. Minnie found her church home at Saint Monica Church. Minnie went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2020. Minnie is predeceased by her parents Lee J. Miller Jr. and Minnie Miller, husband Paul E. Boutte, nine brothers: Oliver (Queen), Charlie, Henry (Myrtle), Loomis, William (Lily), Bernard, Jacob, and Essau (Alberta) Miller and two sisters, Elizabeth Battles and Uether Miller. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Paul C. Boutte; 3 granddaughters, Mercedees, Ci'asisa, and Aaliyah; special sisters, Lucy Sprouts and Rose Stokes; four sisters-in law, Queen (Tallahassee, FL), Lily Miller (Jacksonville, FL), Alberta Miller and Myrtle Miller, both from Rochester, NY; daughter-in-law Jennifer L. Boutte, Godsons Ivan Thompson Sr. and Anthony Mitchell (Pittsburgh, PA), special Goddaughters, Karen McMillan, Catina Carter, Michelle McMillan, and Dr. April Luehmann; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 26 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Latimer Chapel, 983 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY. A Graveside Service to Celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY.
