Mrs. Jackson was born June 8, 1930 in Rochester, NY. She is the daughter of the late Bertis and the late Zilphan (Lee) Glover. Sylvia was predeceased by her brother Douglas L Glover, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Edward Jackson, Sr. of Chili, Children, LaMarr J. Jackson, Esq., of West Henrietta, Edward (Olga) Jackson of Irondequoit, Janine (Catherine Maier) Jackson of Rochester, and Todd E. Jackson of Chili, granddaughter Kalia S. Jackson of Irondequoit, her sister, Rochelle McDaniel of Rochester. She is also survived by three step grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren including the very special Sha'Meik Swan, along with her nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces, nephews and church family. Retiree of Gerber Baby Products, and employed by Churchville- Chili Central School. Friends may call Friday, September 27 from 5-8 pm at Trinity Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 9 Shelter Street, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the church.
