Mr. Cooper was born April 30, 1931 in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late Peter and the late Earley Cooper. US Army Veteran .He is survived by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Juanita Cooper; 1 daughter, Rosemary Madison (Darrell); 5 grandchildren, Aaron D. Cooper; (Latoria Harvey), Chezzaray Thompson, Le'Chance Madison, Michael Long and Chelsie Madison; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives, church family and friends. Friends may call Thursday, October 3 from 5-8 pm at Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the church. Rev. Derrill Blue, officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
