ROCHESTER, NY – June 22, 2019 Byron E. Carson was born in Rochester, NY on July 25, 1959, the youngest son of the late Loftus C. Carson and the late Margie (Wright) Carson and the brother of the late, Loftus C. Carson II "Butch". Byron's father was a prominent figure in Monroe County (Rochester, NY) serving as Executive Director of Monroe County Human Relations Commission and Margie Carson was a respected school teacher. Byron grew up in Pittsford, NY and graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School in 1977. After high school Byron attended the University of Rochester (UR) and majored in English. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 1981. He leaves behind his partner Donna Williams from New York City, NY; his cousins, Joyce Saxton, April Johnson, Carlo Wright, Wayne Wright and Lester Carson; other cousins and a host of friends. Friends may call Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10 AM – 12 Noon at Memorial AME Zion Church, 549 Clarissa St. Funeral Service immediately following. Rev. Derrill A. Blue, Officiating. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.
