Mr. Walters was born May 20, 1936 in Dunham, KY. He is the son of the late Daniel and the late Priscilla L. (Robinson) Walters Sr. He married Alice W. Walters.
He served in the Army from 12/14/1954 to 11/30/1956. He was employed by New York State Lottery as a Branch Manager.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years; Alice W. Walters; 3 daughters, Terri Walters, Tina Walters Johnson (Apostle Miller Jr.) and Kimberly Walters; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willard "Will" Walters (Isabella) and Daniel Walters Jr.; 2 sisters, Josephine Green (Rev. L.C. Green) and Freddye Price; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, August 26 from 11:00-12:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street, Rochester, NY.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street, Rochester, NY with Rev. Dr. Rickey B. Harvey, Officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester following the service.
