To the Family of Mr. Killings: I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May your hearts find comfort in God's wonderful promise for the near future (John 5:25,28). Until then, may your loving memories of Dwight strengthen and comfort you during the very difficult days ahead. My sincere condolences to all of you.

Dear Liza and Michele, Dwight is with God. You two did all that a Mom and sister could do for their child and brother. Every single day of Dwight's short but remarkable life, in his own way Dwight knew what it was to be loved.
I recall that Christmas day when my family and I met Dwight. You and our beloved brother Michael came to my house on Christmas day and you brought Dwight for the first time. When I saw him, I put a large gold Christmas bell that hung on a red ribbon around his neck. He started shaking it and he became so excited. Dwight began hugging me and hugging. It must have been his way of thanking me for that bell. Michael began laughing that wonderful laugh of his as he watched Dwight jumping up and down with his strong arm around my neck as the Christmas bell jingled and jingled much to his delight. Eventually you stepped in, in a effort to calm Dwight down and released me from his grip. My brother Michael stood there was laughing and laughing that wonderful laugh of his. Michael was really enjoying watching the two of us. When Michael was able to stop laughing he said in a loud voice full of laughter, "isn't he cute!". Michael loved Dwight and cared about him as if he were his own son. That day, we began to love him too.
Because of you Liza, our brother Michael was able to achieve his life long dream. He experienced what it was like to head a family of his own with two children and a grandchild. Michael, Dwight and my beloved Lenny, these three precious men of ours are all in heaven together now, watching over all of us and looking out for one another.
They are all doing just fine.
Love,
Joyce
