Mrs. Gibson was born May 16, 1932 in Winston Salem, NC. She is the daughter of the late Jack and the late Lillie (Curry) Hall.
She is survived by 1 son, Oliver (Patricia) Cannady ; 2 daughters, Melbra D. Cannady and Andrea Y. Heath; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Marion (Helen) Hall Sr. and Vernon (Shirley) Hall; 2 sisters, Alma (George) Clement and Florence Hall; nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, March 31 from 11am-12Noon at Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street. Funeral Service immediately following. Rev. Dr. Kenneth Q. James, Officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
