Ruby D Owens, age 81, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Owens was born July 8, 1934 in Warriormine, West Virginia the daughter of the late Dewey and the late Alberta (Edwards) McElrath.
Predeceased by 1 son, Kenneth Bruce Owens; She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, George L. Owens; 3 sons Jeffery (Belinda) Owens, Anthony (Sue) Owens and George K. (Francine); 3 Daughters, Deborah Elmore, Pamela Dade and Annette Zellner; many grand and great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Joe (Patricia) McElrath; 1 sister, Dean (Robert) Turner; host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives; church family and friends.
Friends may call Monday, 5-8PM at Aenon Baptist Church, 175 Genesee Street. Funeral Service Tuesday 12Noon at The Church. Rev. Robert Miller, Officiating. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield, New York.
