Ruby Harvey, age 87, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Harvey was born May 20, 1926 in Cordele, GA the daughter of the late Willie and the late Ruth (Brewster) Smith.
Predeceased by her husband, Willie Harvey and 3 sons, Willie Jr., Bruce and Ronald; She is survived by 1 son Jihad AL-Sabbar; 2 daughters, Martha L. (Cleveland) Hope and Arneska M. Harvey; 15 grand and 12 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Bishop Willie Smith, Jr.; 1 sister, Katie Tucker; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives church family and friends.
Friends may call Friday, 5-8 pm at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Joseph Ave. Funeral Service, Saturday, 11 AM at the Church. Rev. James L. Cherry, Jr. Officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church Scholarship Fund in memory of Mrs. Harvey.
