Lawrence W. Sheffield, age 87, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in, Rochester.
Mr. Sheffield was born April 29, 1926 in Eau Gallie, FL. the son of the late Willie and the late Elneeda (Belle) Sheffield.
US Navy Veteran. Predeceased by his wife, Lena E. Sheffield; and daughters, Elveria and Deborah. He is survived by 5 daughters, Gloria (James) Hawkins, Agnes (Ruben) Sheffield-Deese, Patricia (William) Marshall, Bernice A. Sheffield; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; special friend, Ella Clarke; nieces, nephews, god-children, other relatives, church family and friends. A special thanks to Strong Memorial Hospital staff and Visiting Nurse Services.
Friends may call Friday, 5-8 pm at Church Of God By Faith, 230 Adams St. Funeral Service, Saturday 10 AM at the Church. Pastor Denise Jackson, Officiating. Interment, Falls Cemetery, Greece, New York.
