Ionie A. Simpson, age 81, of 8 Bobrich Drive, Rochester died Friday, December 28, 2012
.
Mrs. Simpson was born July 12, 1931 at Mt. Zion, Jamaica, West Indies.
She is survived by 1 sister, Daisy Gordon of England; devoted niece, Elizabeth Peyton of Rochester; nieces, Ruth Henry and Joaness Spencer of Jamaica, West Indies and nephews, Kendrick A. and Trevor A. Peyton of Rochester; other relatives; church family and friends.
Calling hours will be Friday from 11-12PM at Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street, Rochester, NY. The funeral will follow at 12:00.Rev. Dr. Kenneth Q. James officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester.
