George Henry Morris, of Brighton died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY. Mr. Morris was born October 18, 1937 in Ossining, NY the son of the late George Willis James and the late Benetta (Heckstall) Morris. He served the country as an Army Veteran. He was employed by General Motors Rochester, NY as a Assembly Line Worker and retired after 38.5 years. George was a member of the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association). He is survived by his wife, Monique D. Taylor Morris; 3 sons, Earnell Morris, Gregory Morris and Roth Taylor; 2 granddaughters, Benisha Harris and Gabrielle Morris; 2 brothers, Jonathan Morris of Switzerland and Wayne Morris of Saratoga, NY; 2 sisters, Catherine Ashe of White Plains, NY and Johanna Morris Lundy of Ossining, NY; 1 brother-in-law, 4 sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. No prior calling. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 29th at 11:00 AM at White Haven Memorial Park's All Seasons Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Perinton, NY. Burial will be immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lucy Leone Fund and the Hildebrandt Hospice Center. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Mehul Patel.
