Dear family and friends of Eric,
I just learned of Eric's passing and am so heartbroken. I am one of his former professors from MCC, where Eric excelled in criminology with me and completed the Mentors in Violence Prevention program with Joe Sturnick in May 2010 and me after he graduated. He was working at Hillside then.
One of my funniest memories is seeing Eric at a Bruce Springsteen concert at Blue Cross Arena in March 2008 - we were seated one row away from each other.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you...he was a special, wonderful man.
