Dear Family,,
I will always cherish the memories I have of Aunt Till. She was that special lady who was thought of so often even after she left our ares. She had a way of bringing a smile to my face (they tell me that is hard to do because I am so much like daddy. The last time I talked to Aunt till, Thelma told me she could't talk to me but that she would know that I was speaking. Aunt Till would always asked me about the family and my son Greg. She would say, how is MY BOY?. We will all miss her. so family stay strong and know that Aunt till lived a long blessed life.
Love all of you.
Jean

Aunt Til:
You blessed my heart and soul tremendously. I shall always remember your days in Tuskegee, AL. I still have the plant that you gave me when you relocated to New York (and I will continue to nurture it even more). You’d always give me wise counsel and sincere encouragement on raising my daughters as a single parent. And for that I will forever be grateful. Your pleasant smile and humble spirit was always filled with love, peace, and contentment. I am so glad you were able to attend the 2011 Pace Family Reunion in Atlanta, Georgia, for your presence blessed us all. I know your colleagues at the Senior Center will always remember you, because they knew how much you enjoyed attending. The Word of God says, “to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Aunt Til, I can see the sparkle in your eyes and the smile on your face, when the Lord extended His arms and welcomed you home. Thelma, Bill, Jr. and Mae took very good care of you. Memories of you will linger forever. I LOVE YOU DEARLY. Your niece, Neat

I have known Miss Matilda for a little over year and I am truly blessed to have known her. She brought a smile to my face every moment that I was in her presence and I will miss her terribly. I hailed her the “Queen of Comedy” because she possessed the power to make everyone laugh. I just learned of her a short time ago and I am extremely saddened. The Holy Scripture assures us, to be absent from the body is to be present with God. I am encouraged knowing that and I extend my love to the Pace family. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all during this time of grieving. God’s Blessings!

Well my precious Mudear, what an inspiration you've been in my life. I'm thankful for your time here on earth so I can't be too sad you're no longer here.
So many memories of the things you told me casually but meant so much. Like the time we were in a family reunion walking through Chattanooga and you were speaking to everyone, even strangers. I asked why you speak to strangers. And you said " If you close enough to touch them or make eye contact say hello."
From that day on, I spoke to everyone in myp path even when I didn't want to. Some spoke back some didn't, didn't bother me cause I remember what you told me.
You were a strong, outspoken, God loving, blessed young lady. Each of us will continue to carry you with us so you know what that means:) Rest well Mudear and tell everyone we said "Hellllooooo" in that signature Matilda voice.
