Lizzie Mae Diggs, age 89, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 in, Rochester.
Mrs. Diggs was born December 13, 1922 in Quincy, FL the daughter of the late Willie and the late Mattie (James) Jackson.
Predeceased by her husband, Freddie Diggs, Sr. She is survived by 3 sons, Larriel Diggs, Freddie Diggs, Jr. and Robert Diggs; 2 daughters, Rev. Mary Diggs-Hobson (Rev. Lee) and Maurice Bradley (Rev. William) 16 grand; 20 great and 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Willie Mae Johnson; nieces, nephews, other relatives church family and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 PM at House of God, 654 N. Goodman St. Funeral Service, Friday, 11 AM at the Church. Bishop Charles E. Campbell, Officiating. Interment Grove Place Cemetery.
