Luther C Mighty, age 85, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in, Rochester.
Mr. Mighty was born March 14, 1926 at St. Catherine, Jamaica W.I. the son of the late Anthony and the late Catherine (Brown) Mighty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cislyn (Facey) Mighty; children, Marcia (Peter) Gabbidon, Michael Mighty, Lilleith (Allan) Nisbeth, Dorrell (Earl) Gomes, Lorna (Jerome) Underwood, Arlene (Michael) Anderson and Hopeton Mighty; 20 Grandchildren; nieces, Helen and Denise Mighty; nephews, Glen, Collin and Hugh Mighty; other relatives, church family and friends.
Friends may call Friday 6-830 PM at Genesee Baptist Church, 149 Brooks Avenue. Funeral Service, Saturday, 11 AM at the church. Rev, Dr, Vera Miller, Officiating. Interment, Falls Cemetery, Greece, NY. Contributions may be made to Genesee Baptist Church Elevator Fund.
