Walter Rembert, Jr. age 76, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Rochester, NY.
Mr. Rembert was born August 25, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Walter Rembert, Sr. and Missouri (Goellnitz) Rembert.
He is predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Rembert and daughter, Renita Rembert. He is survived by his son, Janssen Rembert; 7 grandchildren, Colton, Chaz, Coty, April, Laquita, Kiera-Danielle and Brandon; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 sisters, Celeste Thomas, Janie Rembert both of Birmingham, AL and Willie Mae Bell of Hawthorne, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM at Latimer Funeral Chapel, 983 South Plymouth Avenue. Funeral Service, Thursday, 11:00 AM at Hope Divine Church of God, 903 Maple Street. Rev. Sammie L. Drayton, Sr., Officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
