Vern Warfield, age 87, died Monday, December 12, 2011 in, Rochester.
Mr. Warfield was born April 26, 1924 in St. Joseph, MO the son of the late Robert E and the late Bertha (McCanny) Warfield.
WW II U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife devoted of 57 years, Mary Frances Warfield; 2 sons, Patrick (Clara) Warfield and Charles (Patti) Warfield; 4 daughters, Virginia Warfield, Donna Warfield Fareed, Doreen (Mike) Graney and Beverly (Ronald) Coleman; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; Thaddeus (Blondine) Warfield; nieces nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
Friends may call Friday from 6-9 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 351 Joseph Avenue, V.F.W. Memorial Service 7 PM. Funeral Service, Saturday, 11 AM at the Church, Rev. Harmon E. Stockdale, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
