Mrs. Washington-Austin was born November 17, 1933 in Wetumpka, AL. She is the daughter of the late George and the late Charlie Mae (Toby) Mack.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Floria A. Hunter; 3 grandchildren, Anjanett (Joel) Cotton, Carolyn (Michael) Brown and Robert (Fatima) Hunter; 8 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
Friends may call Friday, July 20 from 10AM-11AM at Bethany Spiritual Church, 65 Jefferson Terrace. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will follow. Rev. James D. Hunter, Officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff & caregivers at the Brightonian Nursing Home especially the staff on the East wing for their kindness and care.
