Obituary of Jimmie Lee Bruce
CHARLOTTE, NC – June 8, 2018
Mrs. Bruce was born March 11, 1935 in Ambrose, GA. She is the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee and the late Blanche (Jackson) Givens.
She was employed by House of Glamour in Rochester, NY as a Hairdresser.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Bruce. She is survived by; 7 children, Leon (Dorothy) Givens, Willie Givens, Donna (Amir) Stewart, Jerome Givens, Gerald (Eileen), Arthur Givens and Richard Johnson, 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday, June 25 from 10 AM-12 Noon at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 250 Dr. Samuel McCree Way, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
