ROCHESTER, NY – February 22, 2026
Richard Elliott Williams, loving husband of Lorraine Williams and father of two, passed away on Sunday, February 22nd. Mr. Williams was born June 21, 1957 in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late James Elliott Williams and the late Mattie (Smith) Williams.
He was employed by Monroe County in Rochester, New York as an Examiner.
He is survived by his wife: Lorraine (Fields) Williams; 2 daughters, Tasha Williams of Rochester, NY, and Breanna Williams of Brooklyn, NY; one granddaughter, Makayla Asbury of Rochester, NY; other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street, Rochester, NY. Homegoing Service to Celebrate his life will immediately follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Dr. Dairl L. Scott, officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
