Obituary of Dennis Morgan
ROCHESTER, NY
Dennis Morgan peacefully transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Born on February 5, 1961, in Rochester, New York, Dennis was the beloved son of Connie L. Morgan. He attended local schools in Rochester and later completed his GED, showing determination and strength throughout his life.
Dennis was a hard worker and held several positions during his lifetime, including employment at Xerox, Strong Memorial Hospital, and Sticky Lips. Many fondly remember him working the grill along Culver Road, serving others with pride, kindness, and a warm smile.
Dennis was known for his loving and giving heart. Though he had no biological children, he was a father figure to many, pouring love, guidance, and care into countless lives. He loved children deeply and was always willing to help anyone in need. Even in difficult times, Dennis made a way for himself and for those he loved, always putting others first.
Above all, Dennis’s greatest devotion was to his mother. Connie L. Morgan was his world, and there was nothing he would not do for her. He was also blessed to have a second mother in his beloved aunt, Willie Mae McKenzie of Rochester, NY, whose love and guidance were precious to him.
A devoted sports fan, Dennis loved baseball, football, and basketball. Even in the final weeks of his life, he eagerly looked forward to watching the games he loved.
In his later days, while facing serious illness and residing in a nursing home, Dennis gave his life to God. His faith brought him peace, strength, and comfort, and he trusted God until the very end.
Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Morgan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sandra; his devoted mother, Connie L. Morgan; his beloved aunt, Willie Mae McKenzie; sisters Joyce Carter and Shirley Morgan; brothers Harvest Morgan, Carlton Morgan, and Curtis Morgan; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews: Tiffany Scott, Tenaja Scott, Ce’rai Reese, Massie Scott jr., Simia Rumph (Erik), Jada Rumph, Jalen Rumph, Devon Morgan, Sherrell Pope, Dominique Morgan, Skyy Terry, Darnell Pope Jr., Anthony Robinson, and Warren Tisdale III; along with his special goddaughter, Khimari Ravenell.
Dennis Morgan will forever be remembered for his kindness, generosity, loyalty, unwavering faith, and the love he freely gave to all.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
