ROCHESTER, NY – August 1, 2025

Linda was born February 16, 1960 in Rochelle, GA. She is the daughter of the late Willie B. Strickland and the late Annie B (Jackson) Strickland.

She moved to Rochester, NY in 1968 from Rochelle, Georgia.

She was employed by Alsco in Rochester, NY as a Presser and she enjoyed reading.

She is predeceased by; her mother, Annie B Strickland; father, Willie B Strickland; sisters, Willa Mae Peavy, Peggy Ann Goins; brothers, General Wilson Peavy, Sammy Strickland, and Stephen Strickland. She is survived by; her three children, Tekesha Strickland, Robert Lowry III, Terrence Lowry; two sisters, Valerie Simpson, Lavetta Strickland-Jones; six brothers, James Peavy, Felton Strickland, Michael Strickland, George Strickland, Patrick Strickland and Lyell Strickland.

Friends may call Monday, August 18 from 11:00 – 12:00 PM at The Latimer Funeral Chapel, 983 South Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY. A Memorial Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Interment at the convenience of the family.
