Obituary of Melvin Roberts Jr.
ROCHESTER, NY – August 7, 2025
Melvin Roberts Jr. was born in Rochester, New York on January 24th, 1962. He is the son of Melvin Sr. and Barabara Roberts. He enjoyed vacationing with his sister LaTrina and brother Daryl and their children.
He graduated from Churchville-Chili high school and lived in the Rochester area his entire life. He worked for many years at Genesee hospital and later in life was a security office at Rochester International Airport.
He enjoyed traveling and enjoyed experiencing new cultures. His trips to New Orleans and anywhere else where there was good seafood were his greatest joy.
He is survived by; his father, Melvin and mother, Barabara (Wallace) Roberts; brother, Daryl, sister LaTrina, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Thursday, August 14 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 141 Adams Street, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life immediately follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Lawrence Hargrave officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
