
Obituary of Peggy Jean Carter
ROCHESTER, NY – July 25, 2025
Peggy was born June 16, 1946 in Salisbury, MD. She is the daughter of the late James Carter and the late Anna Mae Wilson.
She was employed by Rochester Mental Health Center in Rochester, NY as a Case Manager.
She will always be loved and missed by all of the lives she touched. She was a loving soul with an infectious smile, love for her children and fashion.
Peggy Jean Carter passed away on July 25, 2025 at home. Predeceased by; her mother, Anna Mae Wilson, father, James Carter and sisters, Betty Robinson and Gloria Winder. Peggy is survived by; her daughter, Robin Carter and sons, Raymond Donaldson, Lorenzo (Dionne) Carter, and Reginald Duhart; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Emmanual Missionary Baptist Church, 1772 Clifford Avenue, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow. Interment at the convenience of the family.
