Q: How did you meet Rishard? A: I had the privilege of meeting Rishard at his mom’s shop where I went on several occasions to get my hair done. Rishard was a very kind, thoughtful and sweet young man who you couldn’t help but love. I will cherish his memory forever. ♥️ Deaconess Betty Knight

Q: What will you miss most about Rishard? A: My name is Dr. Stevie Watson, Associate Professor of Marketing at Hampton University. I was Rishard's faculty advisor at Hampton University. As a student, Rishard was hard working, inquisitive, and determined to succeed. I will miss our academic advisement sessions, his smile, and attentiveness in my marketing classes. He was taken from this world far to soon. I know that Rishard was destined for greatness. I want to express my heartfelt condolences to Rishard's family, loved ones, and friends. His spirit lives on and he will never be forgotten. I will miss him greatly. He will forever be a Hampton University Pirate. Sincerely, Dr. Watson

My sincerest condolences to the Harvey Family. May His Soul Rest in Peace. Given that I teach complex quantitative concepts and the associated lectures can weigh heavily on the minds of the class attendees, I can always look to Rishard to share a quick inquisitive question or remark that would instantly make the concepts a lot more approachable, and the classroom atmosphere is also instantly re-energized. Moreover, I was able to rely on his galvanizing presence and participation over the course of two FULL semesters - both in Statistics and in Quantitative Methods and in the classroom, outside-of-the-classroom, and during office hours especially. In addition, I will mis his heartfelt engagement and big smile during our numerous interactions - whether we crossed paths in the Business School, or in the Student Union, or after his Choir performances. Again, I'm deeply saddened by his passing. God bless his Soul and his Family! Dr. Nizam Najd.
