Q: How did you meet Henry "Hank"?
A: I met Henry in 1997 when I started hanging out At Salingers bar. We quickly became great friends. When he became the doorman at Salingers I would sit next to him at his table where he checked ID’s and welcomed everyone as they came in and he would say goodbye to everyone on their way out. By sitting with him we got to know each other quite well. Outside of his bar job we would meet up for a steak dinner usually once a month and together we would hit other East End pubs to visit people we knew. Of the 28 years I knew him 15 years were when I lived in Rochester. Even when I moved to Austin Texas we kept in touch about often. We were brothers in friendship. I will miss my buddy always and wish I could be there for the Wake and funeral. Love you Henry. Thank you for all the great memories.
