ROCHESTER, NY – May 8, 2025
Cheryl was born September 21, 1967 in Rochester, NY. She is the daughter of Carl Edward Copper and Elois Idella (Davis) Copper.
She was employed by Willow in Rochester, New York as a Donation Coordinator.
Cheryl Copper, lovingly known as Dionne, by those closest to her, passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 57 in Rochester, NY.
She is survived by her parents, Elois Copper and Carl Copper Sr., and was a proud sister to Tracy Copper (Melanie), Carla Copper, Rhonda Leonard (Alexis), Victor Copper, Kareem Copper (Shannon), Carl Copper Jr., and India Copper. Though she had no biological children, she mothered many—especially Enoch Henry, whom she loved as her own. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends, all of whom were touched by her love, strength, and generous spirit.
Friends and family may call Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at First Church Divine New Thought, 233 Central Park, Rochester, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment at the convenience of the family.
